Lush Mask of Magnaminty

My sister has used lots of products from Lush before however this is my very first Lush buy! And I have to say it is a good one!! I'm sure most of you already know but Lush is known for their natural ingredients and since I don't have any Lush products I thought I'll give this a try!

I use it once or twice a week and I like to keep this in the fridge to keep it cool. So when you apply this onto your face it will feel very cool and relaxing. This product lasts for 3/4 months (there's an expiry date on the tub). I also find it cute they have a sticker telling you who made the product for you ^_^.

The smell is very strong but I love it!! It smells like minty ice-cream. I could almost eat it lol!! To people who also own this please tell me you feel the same!!! I'm not the only one....right....haha

This is advertised as a face pack and a back pack so you can apply it anywhere really where you feel is problematic. Or even if you have spots, you can apply the product just on the spot and it will soothe and dry the area.

After applying this, my skin feels really smooth and clean because it helps to exfoliate the skin. Since I have combination skin I like to use this like a clay mask.

Essie Mint Candy Apple Nail Polish

My nails right now!

I painted on two coats. I don't own many Essie nail polishes because they are quite expensive but this colour is one of my favs to paint my nails with.

More things!!

So here are the rest of the stuff I was meaning to show you guys! I really want to blog more here so I will try my best too!!

Etude House Collagen Eye Patch

I have purchased these on eBay before, I have to say all you can really feel is the cooling effect but they are quite cheap so if your under eye area is feeling a bit puffy or dry, you can try these since these can help decrease the puffiness by a little. As always the Etude House packaging is so cute and I don't think these masks leave a scent so that's a thumbs up!!

Maybelline Lashionista Mascara

I've been hearing a lot of good reviews on this mascara so I was excited to try this out! Since this isn't available in the UK, I HAD to get this! I got this mascara in Black (not sure if there are other colours available). So this is Japan's no1 best selling mascara because it helps lengthen your lashes and it contains 4mm fibers. It also claims to be smudge proof with no clumps when applied. It is very build-able and the wand shape makes it easy to coat each and reach each lash evenly so I think this can be used on your bottom lashes too. The only thing with this mascara is that it has no volume so if you want that clean, almost like natural looking lashes effect you can give this a try ^_^. Of course the packaging is eye catching and vibrant too.

Etude House Eyebrow Drawing Pencil

So if you are not good at drawing brows like me, this eyebrow pencil from Etude House will come in handy! It is a dual ended eyebrow pencil, one side is pencil while the other contains a spooly brush which helps to erase the pencil if you think you've drawn too much on or blend in the pencil or even just to tidy the brows with. I think this product is extremely handy and useful, especially with the shape the pencil comes in, which looks like a slanted triangle. It makes it easier when it comes to shaping the brows. I've been using this for a while now and it stays on all day for me!

Etude House Bling Bling Eyestick in #03 Supernova Pink

If you want to brighten your eyes and look more awake you can try this eye product. I like to apply this shimmery product in the inner corners of my eyes to give more colour to my eyes. I chose the colour pink because I think it looks less harsh than plain white but there are plenty of colours to choose from. As you can see the colour shows up quite well on my skin. This product is quite versatile as it can also act as a eyeliner and eyeshadow.

Last but not least this is the Etude House Sweet Recipe Choux Base in Peach. It is also available in Mint and Berry.

I love the smell of this! The packaging is also very cute. When I first looked up this product it was contained in a jar so I was surprised when I got it in a tube. Turns out Etude House got a lot of comments about the jar so they changed the packaging of it. I guess this is more hygienic but I thought the jar was very pretty.

I love what this does to my complexion. It really evens it out and brightens up dull skin. If you're not into the brightening and whitening functions then this might not be for you. I haven't used many primers in the past but this is really one of a kind because I've never had a primer/make up base even out my complexion this well. The texture is creamy but not so creamy that it's like a moisturizer. However I still find it easy to blend out. It leaves a smooth, soft finish but isn't dewy or powdery. This base also has SPF25 PA++ which is a plus!

Hope you found some of my thoughts helpful. Until next time, take care guys!

Etude House Precious Mineral Magic Any Cushion

Hello people!!!! I am back after 10 months of hiatus!! Wow, it's been a while but what's better than to come back with a review on one of the most talked about beauty products of right now....right?

So my mum went to HK, and I gave her a list of things she could perhaps buy me heehee. She bought me back a lot of things so I will probably post these one at a time to avoid confusion but we'll see how it goes!

So here it is ^_^. It comes in three different shades, mint, pink (the one I have is in pink!) and peach. The mint shade is for concealing redness, the pink is for people who have pale skin and the peach one is for brightening skin.

The above photo shows the bb cushion looks like inside (and haha you can see my newish phone case in the mirror! If anyone would like to know more about it, I can perhaps post about it another time). Anyway the bb cushion contains a puff which you use to apply the product with and I love the puff because it works really well.

And it's in pink!!! I think it's unique that it's in pink because normally the puff made with this material is blue. Like I said I like the puff a lot because it works really well, I think you can buy the puffs separately and you could probably use it to apply for other products too, like, bb creams, foundations etc. I think the puff can be very versatile ha ha.

So this is what the product looks like. I like the bb cushion a lot because it's fun to play around with. One of the good things about this product is it is refillable, so once you've hit pan you can push it out from the bottom and replace the container with new product.

This is probably one of my favourite beauty products at the moment. It is the first bb cushion I have owned and I think it does a really really great job at brightening skin. It also evens out your complexion and even if it just supposed to be a makeup base and its job is to colour correct I think this bb cushion could be used alone because it works really well on its own. Another thing I have noticed is that no matter how many layers you put on, it will not look cakey instead it will look very very dewy. So if you have combination/oily skin like me, I would recommend setting this with powder cos it does look really shiny however I do think the dewy look is quite nice. You could also use this as a concealer to cover your lips if you want to achieve the ulzzang gradient lips effect.

This is also a cheaper alternative to the Laneige bb cushion that I've seen in adverts and a lot of people have been saying that this works just as well as the Laneige one.

I hope you've enjoyed this post!
